Physical Education in Key Stage 4 will provide students with the opportunity to take some of the activities covered in Key Stage 3 further. Physical Education is a statutory subject for all students up to, and including, Year 11. As well as contributing to the development of healthy lifestyle choices, it provides students with opportunities to develop skills that are not so easily developed in a classroom setting. We adhere to the guidance set out in the National Curriculum to provide a broad and balanced learning experience. As well as the traditional games activities, such as football, netball and rugby, students participate in non-competitive environments, such as team building and fitness. There are also opportunities to participate in school teams across a range of different sports.
